I have been going there for several years and they have always taken care of me. Customer service has always been awesome and the staff know their stuff. They are one of the last walkin places to go to left over from all the places in Kearny Mesa to buy parts.

I have bought 2 computers and several upgrade parts. Prices were low and computers have worked as promised, I have had not problems with the computers or the parts. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new computer.

They are simply outstanding. He makes sure that everything is understood and uses simple language. He recommends only by what is necessary , he doesn’t gouge you for parts. This place will forever be my computer fix it spot. We drive from La mesa

I took them my computer because it would not turn on anymore and they fixed it within a day. The price was very reasonable and the guy up front was very friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Just bought myself a present for the Holidays. Basically did a heavy upgrade on my PC. Pretty much new everything. They took my computer in, had it for a week. Spoke to Gary I think it is, nice guy, super helpful. Before I even agreed to the upgrades we sat down and discussed my needs. I liked how he did not try and over sell to me. He told me straight up what I need and what would be enough to handle my work load. Got my computer back after a week and everything is working well.

The pc system I got from Chips and Memory is working great. It was ready in two days as promised: Intel i7, 3.6 Ghz quad CPU, with a Radeon 7950 video card, and 8 Gb memory. It's an awesome upgrade from old Pentium 4. And the service was friendly and helpful.

I decided to try this place out. A few of my friends have bought stuff here before and had no problems. I ordered 2 systems from them, one for my business and the other for my home. They had them ready in two days as promised, loaded with Windows, and they are working great! Thank goodness they still carry Windows 7.

Looked for local computer store where I could speak directly to a knowledgeable person and googled stores...called 2 or 3 and found Chips & Memory. Drove over on a Thursday afternoon, explained to very helpful sales person that I'm running a business, he set me up with a better system, faster, more memory for less than Dell and I picked it up on Tuesday. It's a rocketship and works great..these guys know their stuff and are worth valuable time & $ when ordering a new computer. Highly recommend them.
