        Avoid Walters Home Management ...

        Avoid Walters Home Management at all costs. They will actually try to do things that are illegal by California law, such as leaving toxic materials on the property, withholding money from security deposits for normal wear and tear. They are slow to respond to requests. They just assume that tenants don't know their rights and try to steam-roll them. Fortunately, I know my rights and am working actively to protect myself against them - photos, written documentation and lawyer letters. It is too bad that I have to do this, but I don't trust them at all - I don't even trust them to follow state law. There are plenty of homes to rent - simply avoid any home offered by Walters Home Management.
