Toward Maximum Independence is a nonprofit charitable corporation offering social services to the people with disabilities. Its program services and supports include various support programs, such as community living, community employment, and family support. It also teaches skills to people in various areas such as banking, budgeting, and meal planning and preparation. It provides forensic advocacy services to address the needs of children and adults with developmental disabilities involved in the criminal justice system. It specializes in supporting people with developmental disabilities, whether victims, witnesses, or defendants. Its conference center facility offers full service catering for any occasion, such as round table dinning, classroom teachings and lectures. It holds up to 100 people and offers a variety of advanced technology, such as a television, DVD player and overhead projection system. It also provides Internet connection, wireless connection and advanced sound system.
