Truluck's Seafood Steak and Crab House

Truluck's is definitely one of the best places to dine in the La Jolla area. I love the interior, it seems to have a really pleasing ambiance. The live music was wonderful, I truly enjoyed how it improved everything. Their team definitely has a really wide-ranging wine and cocktail assortment, so many terrific options to choose from. I can't remember a time when I've had such extraordinary service as was provided by Stewart, as well. Taking professionalism to a new level, he was extremely attentive and courteous and lightened up the meal with some amusing commentary and made sure we didn't have food allergies. He told us all about the Monday Stone Crabs and brought out the crab display. He told us some food truck stories about Los Angeles which I found to be really cool. I was also really absorbed in the details about the piano player that he brought up. Stewart was a totally awesome guy with a great personality and made our visit better many times over just by providing impeccable service. The New York Strip was one of, if not the best steak I've ever had in this area, it was so delicious. The management of the restaurant was out and checking up on everyone to ensure the experience was superb, which shows that they really care and want everything to be pleasant for everybody. Their valet parking is well priced and smoothly operated as well. I love everything about the San Diego area and I enjoy many of the other seafood restaurants in the region, this place was definitely worth the trip down from Los Angeles as it is one you wouldn't want to miss out down here. I literally can't think of a single thing I was displeased about the entire time, the area is outstanding, the food was amazing, Stewart was awesome and everything across the board was a perfect 'ten out of ten'. Everyone should come by and experience this restaurant and find out why all these other people on Yelp are also posting about the great time they had.

when you eat at Truluck's you're not just having dinner, it is an entirely different experience... not only will you be sampling the finest Seafood you have ever tried but the service staff will make your dining experience entertaining and pleasurable with their professional expertise. They have South African Lobster, the Rolls-Royce of lobsters! So good!!!

Simply the best service and food I've had in the 8 years I have lived here in San Diego. I ordered the Sea Bass... do yourself a favor... order it too if you get the chance... I can't say enough positive things about my experience here... so I'll just say thank you... and return often..!
