Jack Trux Moving Specialist

Do not trust Jack Trux with your furniture! I had them my my things into storage and several months later tried to schedule them to move my things out of storage. They cancelled my move ONE business day before I my move because they received a larger order, I presume. They told me to call by 5pm if I wanted to cancel my order that I'd already had on the books for two weeks. The next day they told me they had cancelled my order and that I was supposed to call them by 5pm if I had wanted to keep my order (since when would a business require you to call and confirm an commitment that's already scheduled?? even if there are, that was definitely NOT the case). One person there had told me they had had a request for a big move, so I am assuming that is why they cancelled my smaller move. The general manager refused to listen to me when I was transferred to him to complain. He offered to move me the next day, which is too late! BOTTOM LINE: SINCE THEY ALREADY HAD MY THINGS IN STORAGE, THEY DID NOT HAVE TO PROVIDE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY DIDN'T. They were extremely rude, dishonest and unprofessional. This was a good reminder that it's the people in the business who matter; if they aren't professional and trustworthy, you can really lose!

I am writing just to let you know that my partner and I were extremely pleased with the packing and moving services that Jack Trux provided us on Friday 28 Sept and Saturday 29 Sept. Unfortunately, I forget the names of the three young men who did our pack/move, but I cannot imagine any otehr three movers being as polite, as efficient, or as fast as the guys who packed/moved us. The packing and moving came in at $80 under the estimated cost, which obviously pleased us. But even more, nothing was broken, nothing was lost, everything came together like precision clockwork. We are greatly pleased!



Please commend the three young men who did our pack/move for us. And be assured that if ever anyone asks us for a reference to a moving company, we will heartily recommend Jack Trux.
