San Francisco Bicycle Rentals

SF Bike Rentals was super conveniently located near the end of the cable car line and just a few blocks from the waterfront bike path. They were renting lots of comfort bikes for folks cruising along the bay up to the Golden Gate bridge. I rented a road bike (a Specialized Allez) hooked it up with all my gear (pedals, lights, saddle bag) and rode across the bridge and to the top of Mt. Tamalpais. I was a little nervous renting a bike for this kind of trip from a tourist bike rental shop but the bike rode great, shifted perfectly and got me the out and back with no problems. And while the price wasn't cheap, it was reasonable. I'll definitely stop by again but will know what I'm getting myself into next time!
