Ronald W. Caspers Wilderness Park

Went last June with the Mrs. and the grand kids. Plenty of safe and easy hiking trails, clean quiet campgrounds and 24 hour restrooms with hot showers. No quarters needed. Next day we went down to the local beach only 15 minutes away and had fun, came back just before evening. Nice quiet family atmosphere, prices reasonable but I would call way in advance for the summer. We stayed in the Live Oak campground - no hook ups. The kids loved the big nature center with all the stuff to do and look at. We saw the Saturday night camp show with Ranger Adrianna and Jojo. I got to play a mountain lion. The show was funny and sweet, and made you think. Overall we had a great time, and plan on going back .
