Makiyaki

I read somewhere that this place could be a hit or miss. So I decided to try it out

for myself, here's my honest review. This is a family run restaurant. Dad works the sushi

Mom busses table & the kids provide all the other services. We went kinda early arrived

around 6:30pm on a Friday night. While some tables were filled most were empty.

The menu can be overhelming relax, the insert is full of pictures of sushi & inside is

a description of the different types of sushi & rolls available. So if your not sure

read up & you'll find something! We started with the Poki description was fresh tuna on

with seaweed in house special dressing. What came was a dinner plate of iceberg lettuce

sliced tomatoes smothered in the house special sauce. The seaweed was place in a corner

of the plate. We spent time trying to find the tuna because it turned out with the house

special sauce they were the same color. Not good there. If they dropped the iceberg lettuce

it probably would have been great! By now the place is packed & people are waiting

to get to a table. Teka Maki is very good with fresh tuna kudos for the Crunchy & Power

rolls too! Teka Maki was so good we ordered 2. Bottom line is I will definitely try again

Service did slow but you have to keep in mind that this family operated!
