Adjustments, or manipulation as they’re sometimes referred to, are the minor movement of vertebrae in the spine. The objective of this movement is to realign vertebrae that have moved out of place for a number of reasons ranging from normal daily activity to trauma such as a car accident. The chiropractic adjustment helps reestablish normal neural connection from the body to the brain and from the brain to the body; without which, normal function cannot occur. Chiropractic Adjustments

Spinal Adjustments
Many people who have not been under chiropractic care or have only experienced the traditional chiropractic hands on adjustment where a manual thrust with the chiropractor’s hands on the spine will produce the spinal adjustment along with an audible “pop”, may not be aware that technology has provided new ways of adjusting the spine without the thrusting or “popping”.
Subluxation
From the chiropractor’s perspective, it allows for multiple adjustments to be delivered on the same spinal or extremity mis-alignment (“Subluxations”) very quickly. When a shoulder, for example, is not moving correctly within it’s joint normal range of motion, it can literally be adjusted in 10-15 different directions (or vectors) in just a few seconds. The shoulder joint is ball and socket joint and moves in an infinite number of directions. While spinal vertebrae are not as mobile as the shoulder, they still have a multitude of directions they move in or conversely, need to be adjusted in. With the Velocity Adjustor, this can be done very quickly, effectively, and painlessly. Most patient’s express a “Ahhh…..”, usually stating “That felt good, can you adjust that again!”. And it’s easy on the chiropractor also!
Manipulation Therapy
Informed Consent NBR is a manual therapy utilizing a balloon inflammation technique in the 6 sinus passages. The doctor has explained that the potential benefits are improved sinus breathing, better brain function/clarity of mind, and enhanced neural coordination of the body, but no guarantee of improvement is implied. I have been informed that the treatment is uncomfortable, but gets easier with each session.I have been informed that the NBR has been rigorously studied in a scientific manor, but has been discussed in the scientific journals, and has been utilized by chiropractors since the 1950’s as well as physical therapists & acupuncturists, and has been taught at Western States Chiropractic College.
Myofascial Therapy
We utilize this very sophisticated neural repatterning technique to correct the errant neuro-connection. Also utilized are low force instrument adjusting to the restricted joints of the hip, knee, and spine to restore motion and alignment. Soft tissue therapy is also extremely important to release adhesions so we utilize special myofascial release techniques (Percussion and FAKTR techniques).
Therapeutic Exercise
Applied Kinesiology
He truly has a wholistic approach to healing, addressing the Structure, Bio-chemistry and Emotional sides of the Triad of Health. His main technique is called Neural Organization Technique (N.O.T.), an Applied Kinesiology (muscle testing) method of whole body analysis, low force instrument adjusting as well as state of the art Laser Therapy (Class 111 & 1V) and a specialized soft tissue therapy called the “WOW-FAKTR”. He believes it to be an honor and a privilege to help people in their healing process.
Acupressure
The whole body is used as an instrument for correction. Coordinated in a very specific sequence, pressure point release of the internal and external muscles of the jaw are performed. Cranial reflex and acupressure meridian points are stimulated in a specific order to balance the fight/flight response, muscle coordination and digestive functions of the jaw. Myofascial retraining of the soft tissue surround the jaw, neck and cranium is addressed using the “WOW-FAKTR” as well as Class 4 Laser Therapy to reduce pain and inflammation deep inside the jaw joint muscles, ligaments and even disc to facilitate healing damaged tissue.
Acupuncture
Combining principles from chiropractic, craniopathy, acupuncture and Applied Kinesiology (manual muscle testing) Dr. Richard Fourzon uses a new and promising approach called Neural Organization Technique. It is directed at the root cause of many chronic health problems-the fight/flight alarm reaction of the TMJ.
