Sarasota Anesthesiologists provide a wide array of anesthesia services for the Sarasota Memorial Health Care System, including anesthesia for general, vascular, neurosurgical, orthopedic, pediatric, urologic, and gynecological surgery. We support the Sarasota Memorial Heart and Vascular Institute by providing anesthesia services for open-heart surgery, including minimally invasive valve surgery, Maze procedures, implantation, of Implantable Defibrillators (ICDs) and pacemakers, transesophageal echocardiography and a wide variety of electrophysiology procedures. Our cardiac anesthesiologists are echo board certified and provide TEE imaging for valve surgery, TAVRs, Watchman and percutaneous mitral valve interventions. Our 24/7 call team provides emergency services for trauma and stroke care.
