Our community of physicians and medical professionals at Lifespan provide a welcoming environment for all families. You can select the provider you wish to be your primary care provider (PCP). We believe the cornerstone of family medicine starts with the relationship that evolves between you, your family, and its care team. The goal of family medicine is to make sure you and your family have access to ongoing personal, comprehensive medical care. Our family medical doctors have extensive training and are often the only provider with the qualifications to treat a broad spectrum of health problems for all ages. If needed, our providers can redirect you to one of our other specialists if a unique challenge arises that deserves specific attention.
Family Practice
Our network of family medicine providers and specialists at Lifespan offer treatment of a broad range of health concerns. Our professionals are dedicated to treating your entire person. We are here to help you with any disease, condition, or challenge you may encounter. When we have reached our limits, we will be there with you every step of the way to redirect you to specialists who offer those services that are beyond our serviceability.
Immunizations
Upon visiting our pediatricians, you can expect a genuine, personable and sensitive approach to ensure your child is treated well. Our pediatricians will want to see your child at least six times before they turn one year old. Subsequently, the preferred schedule is once every four months until they turn two years of age. These frequent visits with our pediatricians are essential to ensure your baby is developing and growing as they should. Included in these visits are your baby’s critical vaccinations and screening for any potential challenges including diseases.

Scheduling your annual women’s exam to get your PAP smear completed is essential. This quick procedure allows us to collect cells from your cervix to be tested and analyzed for cervical cancer. If caught in time, cervical cancer can be treated successfully. Females should begin seeing an OBGYN in their early teenage years. The American Congress of Obstetricians Gynecologists suggests that females between the ages of 13 and 15 should begin their annual visits to their local OBGYN. First visits for teenagers do not always require a full examination unless there are indications of an underlying problem.
