Zoo Reptiles Birds & Fish

If I could give less than a star I WOULD. This place is the probably most terrible pet store I've ever been in. Brought my boyfriends pink toe tarantula in there after we thought he might be dead which he was indeed. However, the owner made us pay $28 just for him to take a metal clamp to the spider, literally FLOP HIM ON THE FILTHY GROUND OUTSIDE THE SHOP USING NO SAFTEY OR PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES than shove him back in the cage and continue to do this roughly 3 times. I've never seen so carelessness with an animal before. He tried to tell us it was still alive when it in fact was clearly dead... Went back in today to talk to him after we returned home to see a hole in his leg (probably from this man's carelessness and sharp instrument) and got nothing but rude replies and told there was nothing he could do and it wasn't his fault. We're nothing but pissed and are continuing further legal proceedings after dealing with the VERY RUDE OWNER.

Ive had reptiles my whole life, and wanted to start breeding. The zoo was recommended to me, so i went there to purchase breeder pythons. He charged me $460 for a spider and a pastelthat he claimed was a proven breeder for two years and had laid ten eggs. When i bought her i thought she looked a little shrimpy to have that many eggs but i took his word for it. I recently had another breeder come too see them, and was informed that there was no way the female was a gram over 700 and there was no way she had ever even laid a clutch before. And on top of that, he told me they really arent worth more than $150 each TOPS. This guy lied to me, and completely ripped me off.

Though there are many "exotic snakes" etc. it is not a "friendly" environment. I felt very uncomfortable and unwanted. Not very welcoming.
