Absolutely the worst service I have ever had in Seattle in 26 years. The physical space is great, the food and wine were quite good...but...the service SUCKED. Our server, Rachael, didn't give a ****. She rushed us at the beginning, ignored us through the meal and didn't bring our check until we asked another employee for it. To make matters worse, she, the bartender, and several other servers stood at the bar only a few feet from us, sampled food with their fingers and never washed their hands before handling customers' food, silverware, napkins and plates. I should have called the Health Department...



A location on Capitol Hill and the proximity of Seattle University are no excuse for rudeness, filth and a lack of professionalism. I'm just a little older than these employees, work in the same industry, and think that tattoos, piercings and an edgy attitude are hot, but not when the basics of service and hygiene are sacrificed. Where the Hell was the manager?! Where the Hell was the owner?!



Heads up, my friends. You're a great addition to 12th but you'll NEVER make it with surly, arrogant, immature employees.
