Dania

A couple of weeks ago, I purchased an office furniture set ($1400) from Dania.



At the time, I explained to the sales associate, Stanley, that I needed to have it delivered the following Saturday before noon as a surprise gift for my husband who was returning from Germany on Saturday afternoon. Stanley assured me that the order would be delivered on time.



Botched Delivery: On Wed, their delivery person contacted me to tell me that Dania had not informed them that they needed to both deliver AND install the furniture and that there was no way that they would be able to deliver my furniture (much less install it) before 6 pm. I was upset and when I spoke with Dania about it - they told me that it was an "outside company" and that they had no control over it. They didn't even apologize!



Botched Order: On Friday afternoon at 3 pm I received a call from Dania to say that they had not "clicked the correct box" and so the furniture had not been delivered to the store for pick up. I asked if they could obtain the furniture from another store or speak with the wharehouse (located a couple of hours away) and see if they could arrange for the items to be sent up on another delivery truck. Aaron the manager was a jerk. He acted as though Dania was not at fault at all. He did not offer any solutions - he just kept telling me that he could not solve the problem and that I was lucky that Stanley, the sales associate (who had messed up the original order), had "made such a valiant effort" to get the pieces for me. In the end, my husand returned home to a room with no office furniture at all. I had sold our existing office furniture on Craigslist in anticipation of the delivery and so my husband now has no home office from which to work. The whole experience with Dania was terrible.



Bottom Line: If you are working with any time constraints or need a company that is reliable and takes responsibility for their mistakes - Skip Dania!
