Emergency Care
By all means, if you feel you need to, are bleeding, or in severe pain, please go to the emergency room. We recommend visiting us after being checked out in the ER as it’s very common to miss misaligned spinal bones, which they likely won’t look for.

Labor and Delivery
Many types of physical stress can wreak havoc on the body. This type of stress can come from auto or workplace accidents, sports-related injuries, lifting improperly, or slips and falls. Childbirth itself also can cause physical stress on a newborn. Let’s not also forget one of the biggest causes of stress: gravity!

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) is caused by repetitive motion, such as typing, texting, or performing assembly line work. Over time, such actions may produce pain and injury. Most people with CTS experience tingling or numbness in the fingers or hand or weakness in the hand.

Mental Health
Headaches often cause absenteeism from school or work. Those who experience frequent headaches may find that their mental health is impacted as well in the form of anxiety or depression.

Ultrasound
Some of the most popular advancements in the field include electric muscle stimulation, which may help reduce inflammation and relax sore muscles; laser therapy, which may help promote healing; and ultrasound imaging technology, which helps provide real-time information about the spine’s alignment. Sciatica
Sciatica refers to pain that starts in the low back and extends down one or both legs. It usually gets worse with periods of sitting or standing. Sciatica often affects pregnant women, those with diabetes, and people who are obese.
Whiplash
Whiplash is a neck injury that’s due to a forceful, rapid back and forth movement of the neck. It typically occurs during a rear-end auto accident but some people experience whiplash as a result of a sports-related accident. Symptoms include neck pain, headaches, tingling in the arms, and dizziness.
Pinched Nerve
If too much pressure is applied to a nerve by surrounding tissues (bones, muscles, cartilage, or tendons) a pinched nerve, commonly known as a compression lesion, occurs. This irritation disrupts the function of the nerve resulting in pain, tingling, numbness, or weakness.

Slipped Disc
During a session, the patient lies down on a special table that is designed to gently stretch the spine. By using a combination of intermittent traction and relaxation, spinal decompression can create a negative pressure in the spine, which may help move a herniated or slipped disc back into its proper position. This, in turn, can increase the flow of oxygen and nutrients to the affected area, which can speed up the healing process.
