        Laurel Academy is a non-profit private elementary school for K-6th grade. Our academic program uses a proficiency-based curriculum with effective study tools to help each student become a self learner with a passionate interest in and love for learning. We focus on competency, a demonstrated ability of application of one's materials, and life skills above all. With the aid of step-by-step study guides designed for each subject, teachers are able to freely circulate within the class and ensure each child is flourishing. With tools to resolve any past or current study difficulties, small class sizes, and close personal attention, we know our students will be successful and confident in their knowledge and ability to learn.         Overall

        After much searching, this school has proven to be a fabulous school for my two kids. We have been going since 2010 and I am proud of how much they are learning in their academics as well as maps, social studies, history, music, art, P.E. manners and student services, etc.

        They go on fun field trips and even teach swimming! My kids are happy, and the students and teachers are very friendly. All ages play together and the older kids help the little kids when they are doing group activities. My kids LOVE their school!! This is a wonderful place that teaches so much! I love this school! Such a relief!

        Overall

        I have my 8 year old daughter in Applied Scholastics Academy and I am so impressed with the results. I had her in a public school near my home and she was not doing well. I moved her to a private school where she is getting alot of individual attention and she is thriving! Check out the website to get more info. Its a fantastic school.
