The Orion Center is a multiservice facility that serves homeless and at-risk youths in Seattle. It provides street outreach, residential housing and employment training services. The agency focuses on youth life skills development. The Orion Center provides various drop-in services, including showers, lockers, clothing, laundry and meals. It also offers HIV case management services. The center operates the Seattle Public Interagency School that provides various academic and employment training opportunities. The Orion Center is owned and operated by YouthCare, which is a community-based agency serving more than 1,000 homeless youths in Seattle. Founded in 1974, YouthCare is one of the oldest homeless youth shelters in the western United States. The Orion Center is located in Seattle.
