Dr. Sallye Sawyer Scott has practiced optometry for over thirty years. She specializes in diseases of the eye as well as routine eyecare for all age groups. After graduating from North Panola High School she attended Northwest Community College and the University of Mississippi. Dr. Scott earned her Bachelor of Science degree and in 1978 her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis. An active member of the Mississippi Optometric Association, she has served a term on the board of directors and continues to serve on many commities. She is also an active member of the American Optometric Association. Dr. Scott has been blessed to travel on mission trips to Russia, Honduras, Mexico and Panama. While on these missions, she diagnosis and treats eye diseases, fits glasses and evaluates patients for cataract surgery. She and her husband Randy have one son still at home, Samuel and two grown children, Heather and Randall and 4 grandchildren.
