This is the best primary care doctor I have ever been to in my life. I had not felt well for years before becoming his patient in May 2014. He took an extended amount of time to talk with me and to explore my medical history rather than running me through quickly and impatiently as has been my experience with other doctors. He did a comprehensive panel of blood work and testing in search of the the reasons for my lethargy, lack of energy and general poor health at age 46. Consequently, we discovered several issues that could be easily treated with the correct, specific medications. It made me very frustrated and rather angry that I had suffered for YEARS with these conditions before someone took the time to do the proper test rather than just writing a "catch all" prescription to treat the symptoms. I am grateful to report that at 47 I fell better than I felt at 37! All of this progress is the result of his thorough and thoughtful diagnosis and TESTING and then proper treatment and follow up. Most medical professionals with whom I am have interacted seem hesitant to order tests and treat issues aggressively because they are slaves to the insurance companies. Dr. B does what he feels is best for his patients and lets the chips fall where they may. I am thankful for his tenacity and his willingness to work for the good of his patients instead of always looking out for the bottom dollar as his first priority. He continues to take time to personally talk with me at each visit, to LISTEN to what I have to say, addresses both current and chronic issues and makes me feel as if my health truly matters to him. I highly recommend him (I drive an hour and a half to see him.) if you are looking for a doctor that truly cares and will work for you and your health.
