Concordia University Nebraska, established in 1894 and located in Seward, Neb., is a Catholic college offering a variety of graduate and associate degree programs to students. The various courses offered by the university includes English, biology, chemistry, economics, modern sociology, philosophy, business and accounting, fine arts, history, journalism, mathematics, computer science and physics. It also provides additional courses in Bible studies, industrial technology, family and consumer sciences, marketing, business and special education. The university provides a variety of extracurricular activities and clubs to students, including Spanish, music assemblies, dramatics, and debate and pep clubs. The sports activities offered by the university include soccer, cross-country, golf, volleyball, basketball, football, wrestling, track, baseball and softball. It is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, and has an enrollment of more than 2,000 students.
