If you are not ambulatory and self sufficient this is not the place to recuperate. There is not enough staff to care for the amount of patients they have. Walk the halls early in the morning while the one nurse is trying to give out meds to 20 patients. You'll hear elderly people begging for help, asking to go to the bathroom. They are often told to "go in your diaper". It will break your heart. This is not acceptable care for anyone you love.
