Fencing
You’ve given thought to the variables that you would like to see incorporated into your pool project; now it’s time to find a pool company for the install of the pool itself. Research is an essential part in starting the process; therefore, the decision to pull the trigger is often time consuming. Obviously, the company and the team that installs your pool will play a large role in the success and longevity of your dream project. To simplify this part of the process for you, we have created professional relationships with some of the most reputable pool companies as well as plumbers, electricians and fencing companies in the Berkshires and nearby New York and Connecticut. It is our goal to help you find the perfect fit to start the construction project off right.
Gate Replacement/Installation
Tree Removal
We can clean your property of trees, debris, stumps, underbrush, and other vegetation that has taken over your property. We also offer a service to cut, chop and stack any firewood you would like to keep from the tree removal and land clearing.
Driveways
We first worked with Mark and his team on a large-scale project on our four-story circa 1900 home involving multiple stairways, five garden areas and a long, country driveway. It was a perfect blend of stunning and practical. His rock selection is unmatched! The second project was smaller scale for our Lenox cottage that needed a unifying design for the front and sides of a compact mid-century house. He literally transformed the look and feel of our house through perfectly executed and proportionate stone walls and gracious entry. I am so impressed with his range and scale of work. From massive boulders to small fieldstone, his eye for design is precise, practical and always beautiful.
Excavation
For over forty years, Tomich Landscape Design & Construction, Inc. has created imaginative and stunning landscapes in the Berkshires of Massachusetts and nearby New York and Connecticut. Our designers, Christopher, Mark, and Adam Tomich, determine your needs and combine their ingenuity and expertise to create a beautiful and functional design tailored to your style and home environment. We can complement the design with a full-service installation division performing excavation and earth work, drainage solutions, hardscape installation, and many diverse styles of planting implementation and garden types.
Landscape Lighting
The simple addition of landscape lighting is a sure way to highlight the coolest elements of your project. Lighting not only adds a safety element to your space, it enables you and your guests to spend more time outdoors during the evening and nighttime hours.
Retaining Walls
Our retaining walls will help deliver your property the stability it requires in those areas where topography is unmanageable. They can provide you with functional usage of space that otherwise would be wasted. Retaining walls can add aesthetic upgrade and curb appeal to your home and they will work to slow down and manage soil erosion and water flow.
Walkways
In 1997, we were approached by the Sheffield Library (Bushnell-Sage Library). We worked closely with then library director, Nancy Hahn as we volunteered our services to develop a fully comprehensive landscape design for the newly renovated building. We created beautiful and functional paver walkways while upgrading the curb appeal and aesthetics of the building with some specimen tree installs.

Patios
Not many things are more essential to accomplishing your outdoor living visions at home than the construction of your patio space. Interlocking paver patios are a great option for our area as they are aesthetically pleasing, require very little maintenance, and are resistant to the cracking from the freeze-and-thaw effects from Northeast winters.
