Salon Lux - MI

I have never met a more rude group of pwople in my life. I made an appointment with Nikki Jackson. My first impression of the salon is that it has a very pretty decor. The beauty ended there. Immediately after sitting in her chair, she asked (with a scowl on her face) "who on earth did this color?" I was happy with my color. The only reason that I was looking for a new stylist was because my stylist of 12 years moved to Florida. I was so shocked by Nikki's rudeness that i was at a loss for words. I spent the next hour and a half uncomfortable because she didn't have a nice thing to say about anyone or anything. Not only was she rude to me but she was rude to her staff constantly barking orders and degrading them. I really don't know how she stays in business. Its safe to say I won't be back

My husband was extremely thoughtful and bought me a gift certificate for a massage and pedicure from Salon Lux. Little did he know they only have a massage therapist ON CALL one day a week, and someone to do a pedicure a few days a week. I feel that he should have been informed of this when he made the purchase and was mislead. This place is definitely not a full service salon. I tried to get a refund because I have a full time job and am unable to take off on the only day they can maybe give me a massage depending on whether or not the massage therapist is available. They said sorry, we don't reimburse gift certificates. I think they knew exactly what they were doing when they sold him the gift card and completely took advantage of the situation. It specifically says for a massage and pedicure. I would NEVER give someone my business that isn't willing to look at the situation and try to resolve the issue.
