I use to be an employee at this location. We were constantly battling bedbugs!! So many guest would complain about bites on their children etc. The management tries to keep this hush hush of course but it's a very real ordeal. If I were you, I would check out each room for evidence of bugs before staying overnight.

Stayed for one night. It was a good price for the quality. The sheets looked clean and the room was big. I think it had been updated recently too, my room had a new flat screen. There were a group of construction workers drinking in the parking lot next to my car late at night so I did sleep with the dead bolt locked. I would have liked it more if I felt safer.

the employees are wonderful they make sure u have everything u need n if u don't they get it for u. my family stayed there for a week in 2009. my kids love to swim so we wld just rent a room n stay just so they cld go swimming. this is the best hotel in shelbyville...
