Bear Computer Repair

These guys seem like they've been having some tough times, which delayed my repair a bit, but they stuck with me and my slow-as-molasses computer until it was fixed. If you go here, it might take a while for the time being (they told me they had to hire new techs twice in the past few months), but you can expect for your whatever to be fixed well. No matter what, they're better than any other place around here.

My only complaint is that they don' t take credit cards for small fixes. But whatever, they fixed my iPhone that I spilled coke all over within 10 days, once the parts came in. It seems just as good as new; they said they just had to replace a couple of the internal components and just charged me the cost of the parts and S&H. I think they should have taken credit, and they took a couple days getting it done once they had the parts, but not enough to knock off more than a star. Good job.

Honestly, there's a lot of kids in this area trying to make a buck repairing computers, but I've been to two other places for different reasons, an d I've come back with a dented, scratched up laptop (that was just having some "driver" issues), and a iPhone with the screen coming out of the plastic parts. I wasn't sure if I should take my MacBook to Apple or not, since they cost so much, but I've had a bad experience with local places so far. Bear Computer Repair in Shelton, though, is gonna be my go-to place for computers now, after the job they've done. They were able to replace my logic board for a fraction of Apple's price and now the machine's good as new. I don't have a single complaint; Bear is head-and-shoulders above the competition.

Maybe some people had bad days and just wanted to leave an angry review, but I honestly can't say anything negative about these fellas. They did what needed to be done for my latpop and now it's not causing me any more problems or freezing up. Can't thank them enough.

These guys know how to run a business. My PC at home kept "blue-screening" and Bear Computer Repair was able to figure out that it was an overheating problem, and they took care of it in just a couple days. They're committed to getting the job done.

I needed a new computer for College this year, one that could play all the great games coming out this fall. But, since I'm just a student, I couldn't spend too much money. I saw the prices on the door of this place, and inquired to see how much it would cost for a cheap gaming computer. A couple weeks and $600 later, I have a machine that looks really cool in its glossy case with lights on everything, and is powerful enough for whatever I want it to do. I def recommend these guys if you need a new computer.

Man, there are so many whiny people here. Sometimes, people need to understand that if YOU break something, then someone else trying to fix something returning it still broken isn't all their fault, especially with computers. Anyway, I dropped my PC down some stairs while moving, and bent the case all out of shape, and I could hear parts rattling around inside it. These guys were near me, so I took it here, and they got me a new case and new parts to replace the broken ones, and now my computer works better than new. All these people with broken iPods that THEY broke need to calm down.

I brought in my Alienware computer to Bear Computer Repair and they fixed it in an hour.

The service was great, the people were great and I am really happy!!!

This is truly a business that I would love to deal with over and over again.
