I just visited this restaurant for the first time and will not be going back. I ordered the apple gorgonzola salad which had rotting lettuce throughout the plate. When I asked for a fresh one, I was given another salad with an even bigger clump of molded lettuce than the first time. On top of this our service was some of the worst I have experienced. Our waiter did not bring us silverware and when asked he said “oh we are currently out” I waited around 10 minutes for him to find silverware so I could eat (this was before I discovered the rotting lettuce). My friend was never given silverware and when she asked to have additional sauce that was served with her burger, he said “no one knows what that is, the meal isn’t even supposed to come with sauce.” Even the beer that my friend was served was not what she ordered. My meal was eventually comped after I spoke with the manager and told them I would not be paying but they still made my friend pay for her food. I was offered another salad to take home but I declined, my appetite was gone after eating rotted food.
After working as a waitress previously, I understand that there are bad days and things can go wrong. If something does go wrong I feel that a patron shouldn’t have to ask for the restaurant to make things right especially after two failed attempts to bring out an order correctly. Overall I am disappointed in the management of the restaurant, its their responsibility to train their staff and they have seriously failed in this task.
