WellSpan Urgent Care

I had a finger that seemed to be infected. I had no idea why, but because it seemed to be getting worse rather than healing, I went to the Urgent Care facilities in Shippensburg. The receptionist was friendly and efficient. She directed me to room 6 and a nurse came in, asked why I was there, took my blood pressure, engaged me in conversation and told me the doctor would be in shortly. The doctor came in, lanced the finger, told me how to take care of the wound. She checked medication I was presently taking and called into my pharmacy an antibiotic to help in the healing process. All of this happened within 45 minutes of my arriving at the office. Although I don't remember the nurse or doctor's name, I do apologize for that as they both introduced themselves, each efficiently did their job with great bedside manners. I would go there again, GOD forbid, if I need to.
