Dr. Sarah L Rattray, PHD

We went to Dr. Rattray seeking Gottman certified couples-counseling. During my interview with Dr. Rattray, it became clear that her therapy approach is not suitable for our couples’ needs. My partner and I paid for two 50-minute slots of her time that day. When we reached the conclusion that she is not a good fit, Sarah terminated the first paid-up 50-minutes and refused to give my partner the second 50 minutes of counseling time we already paid for. Some of the reasons we found Sarah Rattray not suitable, was her lack of adherence to the Gottman protocol and the conflict of interest she exhibited between her role as a Psychologist and her Functional Diagnostic Nutrition business. (Her directives on what I should do nutritionally contradicted my Physicians' and ND’s instructions.) Sadly, I personally experienced Dr. Rattray being stoic and autocratic -- lacking empathy and compassion.
