Dr. Brown has been one of mine and my families go to vets since the 90s. She has saved so many of my family's fur babies over to course of times, when other vets said there was no chance on the fur babies making it out alive. She is one of my favorite and best veterinarians I know. We do not know what we would do without you in our life's. The love that she has for animals is not something that you will just find in everyone. She loves her patient fur babies just has if they were her own. Thank You ma'am for always being you and for the hard work that you provide. I would not have been able to get through these past few weeks without you.

PLEASE RECONSIDER TAKING YOUR PETS HERE!! I took my dog to get spayed here two weeks ago. Her suegery took longer than they expected because she was in heat. When I got home I noticed a big bump on her back. I called their office and nobody answered. I left a voicemail and they never returned my call. This was a Friday so I called Monday and they said they never recieved it. I sent pics to Dr. Brown. She asked me to bring her in. I brought her in on Wednesday and Dr. Brown claimed she did not know what it was. I asked her about the heating pad they lay the dogs on during surgery and she said it was a possibility, but not likely. I told her I wasn't gonna pay for anything and she said that was fine. That told me that she knew exactly what it was because she didn't try to fight it. She did try to say that the heating pad was safe and it shouldnt have burned her. She said this could be anything. This was free she said it was a possibility. She also told me that I could come back in for free laser treatments to help with pain and swelling. I took her to a different vet today to have her sutures removed and they immediately told me it looked like it was a hot spot. They were very helpful and told me it was healing and that I could continue using neosporin on it. I would not be as furious as I am now had she owned up to her mistake. I will not be returning.

I would like to say I've taken every pet I've had to Dr. BROWN. Not only did she save my dogs life, she's operated on him a few times. He was 2 years old , a street dog ,and he would have never been adopted because he had been mistreated. A dog knows when a doctor has done something good for them. This Dr. calls the shots with both our animals. I trust her, and her staff is wonderful. I read about the cat article, and real sorry about that, but I 'll never believe she didn't care. Just saying, She earned my trust a long time ago, and more important, she earned STAX 's trust. He is a testimonial.

A few years ago I brought my elderly cat in for rectal bleeding and weigh loss...Dr Brown wanted to keep her overnight fine.I called the next day several times and finally got an answer dr Brown had to leave the clinic for personal reasons fine...but do nit loo ie to me.then they wanted to keep her again overnight. For what. Just to charge more ridiculous fees. It cost me over 240 $.I then brought her that evening do another vet and she did care and the Xray showed met intestinal cancer.she suffered for no reason but that they dud not give a darn and or prefer dogs.PLEASE skip.this place...also it.smells of urine.and feces when you enter that should have been a warning sign.

I recently moved to Shrevport and was looking for a new vet for my three dogs. I chose the dog and cat clinic and now I'm glad that I did. Dr. Brown and her staff have been nothing but friendly to me and my animals. Two of my dogs have gotten neutered here and have both done great! When I brought my new puppy in for the first time they gave me a goodie bag to take home with him that had a sample of food, brochures, a dental chew(which he loves) and a heartworm pill. I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone!!

The Dog and Cat Clinic and Laser Center is such a wonderful place. The atmosphere is very inviting and the staff are very kind. They actually come and greet my animals. My dogs Jax and Tony just love them. The doctor did an excellent job examining my sweet boys. The technicians were very friendly and courteous to my old Jax and his brittle bones. This place offers so much to pet owners; they offer grooming, boarding, laser therapy for those older dogs like my Jax, and professional dental cleanings, which little Tony needed desperately. I never knew how serious dental health care was for my pets, until Dr. Valri Brown explained the dangers. I would recommend this vet clinic to anyone looking for a vet that is friendly, makes you feel like you're part of the family, and takes their time with your pet.

The Dog and Cat Clinic and Laser Center is a great place to take your pet. The staff is very friendly and inviting. I had just moved into the area and was looking for a new vet for my dog Sally. I went in for my exam, the doctor was very friendly and thoroughly checked my little Sally from head to toe. After the examination was over, she asked if I had any questions and offered me advice on numerous things including heartworm prevention, flea control, and even a better diet for my Sally. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who wants the best for their pet.

Don't go there!!! They put one of those cheap plastic leashes around my cat's neck to control her and of course she panicked, not a good thing when a thermometer is hanging out her bottom. They advertise laser but did not mention it as a treatment option. They only asked me if I had any questions at the very end. My questions should not be an afterthought for the staff. I still left confused as to how I should manage my cat's care, how often she needs to come back, and I am a medical person. Needless to say my cat will be going somewhere else!
