Although I began chiropractic care for my feet, its benefits have been tremendous for my entire body. My asthma and allergies are all but gone and I have far less sinus and bronchial infections. I look at my weekly visits as “my” special time. Some people join gyms, get massages, manicures, etc. on a regular basis to look and feel good. I feel I get what I need out of chiropractic for a fraction of the time and cost those other things involve. Nobody today would dream of not having a dentist. I think the time is here where no one should be without a chiropractor!!!

Chiropractic Adjustments
To be honest before I met Brian at the mall I was completely unaware of the benefits of chiropractic adjustments, having been suffering from lower back pain for months. I was desperate to try anything considering physical therapy was doing nothing to improve my condition.
Subluxation
This is a representation of one type of subluxation. A subluxation, as defined by the Association of Chiropractic Colleges is: “A subluxation is a complex of functional and/or structural and/or pathological articular changes that compromise neural integrity and may influence organ system function and general health.” When a subluxation occurs it causes nerve interference in some portion of the body affected by those nerves. The subluxation causes changes to the structure as well as the nerves. These changes get progressively worse as time is allowed to work on the subluxated area of the spine. These changes take the form of ongoing degeneration known as “subluxation degeneration”. By understanding the type and amount of changes, it is possible to reasonably estimate the time subluxations have been present in a spine. Having this information is useful in understanding the time and effort needed for correction.

Dr. Brian has his AS in business along with his doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic. Dr. Brian is an international speaker. He has advanced training in pregnancy, pediatrics and sports injuries. He is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. He is proud to be extension faculty to Palmer College of Chiropractic and Sherman College of Chiropractic. Professional athletes from golf, lacrosse and karate seek out his care. Dr. Brian’s passion for martial arts shows in his second degree black belt in Shotokan Karate as well as his certification as a USA Olympic coach and referee. Dr. Brian has been president/member of a local business networking chapter of 35-40 members where they produced more than 1.5 million in sales in one year. In addition to practice, Dr. Brian has coached basketball and baseball locally. Currently you will see him throwing a lacrosse ball around with his boys.
