I originally inquired with John around fixing broken spring on my garage door. He was very professional, provided accurate pricing over the phone and showed up on agreed upon time. Not only John fixed my garage door, but also did maintenance on my other garage door, helped with remote and provided lot of guidance around garage maintenance. There were no hidden costs. I recommend John and Diamond Garage Doors.

Components of one of my garage doors related to the pulley broke and I requested my neighbors for suggestions. I received recommendations from several places and I checked up on them through an online Google search. This website, yellowpages.com, had several reviews for Diamond Garage Doors (“DGD”), or more specifically, for Jon Rosenthal. However, as I often do, I called 1-2 other places that neighbors had recommended in addition to DGD to get an idea of services. After receiving some basic information, I felt that going with DGD would be a good fit for my situation.



Because I wanted to get general info about repairing as well as possibly replacing my garage doors, I appreciated Jon’s discussion with me about the doors and my situation. His professionalism was apparent in his handling the situation and his casualness put me at ease. I also appreciated that Jon was willing to meet and discuss with me during a weekday evening due to some inflexible hours on my part and a weekend afternoon to repair my door.

Jon was one of the most professional and genially kind individual I have met. He was prompt and on time for the appointment to install my garage door opener. He explained all the steps and procedures involved in installing the door and also did some additional maintenance on my door with our charging me. The torsion spring on our garage was broken. We called a few places and they wanted $350. I saw reviews for Diamond Garage Doors in yellow pages and spoke with John who was extremely friendly and charged basically half the price. He showed up the same day I called, installed new garage door springs and gave me some helpful tips to maintain the garage door over time. I also found Jon on CL and checked out the reviews on YP. Jon came and finished the installation of 2 garage doors within 2, 3 hours. The job is well-done, very professional, everything hauled away clean. On top, he gave me a very good price compared to Costco, Sears, etc. Highly recommended!

I had to replace the torsion spring on my garage door. Found Jon thru the Craigslist and read reviews here. His price was very reasonable, $160 for labor and part. He came within an hour of the call, on time, very professional. He also showed me how to do simple yearly maintenance by using white lithium grease on hinges and track endings. Gave a one-year labor and 5-year part warranty. Very satisfied. Will recommend.
