General Info: Sorento School is an educational institution that conducts classes in math, music, language arts and physical education for more than 400 students in kindergarten through grade eight. It provides several academic and extracurricular programs, as well as instruction in English, science, social studies and art. Sorento School organizes a variety of recreational, athletic, social and educational activities. It has a parent-teacher organization that conducts school improvement meetings, fundraising programs, educational workshops and community eating activities. The school additionally offers a character education program that focuses on the development of responsibility, social service, respect, honesty and self-control skills. Sorento School is located in Sorento, Ill., and is a part of Bond County Community Unit School District 2, which governs elementary, middle and high schools.
