At the top of the owners reasons for building this new corporate office were to create a better corporate image and to show investment in the LionsHead employees by providing a state of the art workspace. The office spaces throughout the building utilized the latest in contemporary colors and materials with high efficiency LED lighting. Break areas for the plant personnel on the ground floor features Terrazzo floor, solid surface countertops, and use of several widows that supply natural light, providing a welcome break from the production floor.
Flooring
Designed by Forum Architects, this 8,200 Sq. Ft. Mexican Restaurant was constructed of conventional wood frame, wood trusses, clad wood windows, storefront aluminum entry, EIFS, colored metals, stamped concrete, CVT flooring, slab-on-grade, membrane roof and brick exterior. Located at Miami Road at Erskine Village Shopping Center, South Bend IN.
Door Installation/Replacement
Designed by Joseph Dzierla & Associates, this 10,400 Sq. Ft. building is concrete slab-on- grade with conventional wood frame, structural steel supports, EFIS and masonry with storefront aluminum window and door systems.
Framing
Huge wood beam framing is being put into place on this 6435 Sq. Ft. café and events space that is a major part of the Andean Bear Exhibit. Zoo attendees will have an opportunity to see the Andean Bears in their habitat up close through the floor to ceiling glass.
Tile Installation
Skylight Repair/Replacement
The 30,000 square foot first phase 9 gate concourse addition consists of barrel steel roof frames with Kal-Wall translucent skylights, terrazzo floor, glazed tile and masonry unit installation, along with the typical concrete, conventional steel construction.

Demolition
Majority Builders performed the 5912 Sq. Ft build-out for The Woodhouse Day Spa located at City Plaza at 1012 E University Drive, Granger IN. This required demolition of the former Farm Bureau offices. The day spa provides services that include skin care, facials, manicures, massage therapy, sleep treatments, body treatments, hand treatments, foot treatments, day packages and more.
Everything is coming together on this 29,130 sq. ft. Gates Chevrolet building at 311 East Ireland Road, South Bend. Trees are planted and landscaping is adding the finishing touch to this new dealership on the cities southside.
Gate Replacement/Installation
Excavation
Shane Blotkamp brings 18 years of construction experience. His responsibilities include project management of site infrastructure, earthwork and drainage. Communications with governing agencies, permitting, erosion control and Clean Water Act requirements. Teaches and trains personnel in required equipment and safety programs.
Walkways
Majority Builders completed the 10,389 sq. ft. giraffe barn, walkways and feeding platform. The 2.5-acre outdoor habitat includes a waterfall water feature. Numerous pressed concrete walkways and steps that all converge on the Phair Family Giraffe Pavilion elevated feeding platform featuring a canopy that mimics the look of an acacia tree, one of the favorite foods of giraffes The design of the Laidig Giraffe Conservation Center building includes a visitor-viewing area inside that will allow visitors to see and feed giraffes in inclement weather all year long. The building has a giraffe holding area for 5, a “small hoof” zebra and ostrich holding area for 7, an entry vestibule to the inside viewing/feeding area, two family restrooms and a keeper area. What a wonderful addition to the Potawatomi Zoo in South Bend, IN.

Siding
The use of bright colors, symbolic and sustainable design features added to the character of this 19,100 square foot Administration Building for the Pokagon Band of the Potawatomi Indian Tribe. The project included using sustainable practices, closed loop geothermal HVAC, cement board siding, native plantings and other energy saving electrical lighting controls and fixtures.

Designed by MBI & Joseph Dzierla & Associates, this 2,700 Sq. Ft. building is frame on concrete slab, with brick veneer and EIFS exterior and architectural metal roofing..

Masonry
This 38,867 square foot City Plaza West shopping center consisted of three phases - two multi tenant buildings and Ruth’s Chris Restaurant. The buildings construction consists of using pre-engineered steel building structures with metal stud or masonry walls, large EIFS facades, contrasting dark bronze storefront aluminum systems and applied stone veneers.
