Siesta Motel

The room and bedding were clean, the location convenient, the rates were "comparable" with similar motels in the area. Those are the ONLY positive aspects of this place.

The staff, seems to be one guy, added nothing to the stay. We paid cash for our room, he asked for security deposit which we paid, he spoke little English but enough to make this clear. When we checked out the next morning and I went to get our deposit refunded he spoke NO English, it took me several tries and and many minutes to get the return of our cash. Up on leaving the lobby another customer was having a similar problem.

There are numerous electrical outlets in the rooms, however they are ALL blocked off, so forget running a laptop, razor, hair drier or charging a phone. The rooms are tiny, the shower spartan and no towels (had to beg for those too) with so little comforts one expects in a modern motel.

With so many competing motels on this strip give this one a miss, as we found there are several nearby that offer far more and cost less. And the staff speak English all the time at those!
