Crowns
Almost all root canaled teeth require a crown due to the brittle tooth condition resulting from the pulp removal. Properly treated and restored endodontic teeth are among the highest predictable procedure in dentistry.
Bridges

Root Canal Treatment
Endodontic (root canal therapy) can often be completed in one visit. More severe or resistant infections require multiple visits. Following the root canal treatment, two separate procedures, the post and core and the crown can often be completed in the same visit, if there is enough time allotted for the entire procedure group to be done.

Periodontal Surgery
Temporaries remain in place for 3 weeks usually and up to 3 months if extractions are necessary, and 6 months or longer if periodontal surgery is required.

Dentures
Avoiding hard or sticky foods will keep the temporary crown in place. If the temporaries do come out call our office for re-cementation or apply a small amount of denture paste to the temporary.

Kelly is a 2006 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. She joined Cincinnati Dental Services following her graduation. Dr. Privett is a native Cincinnatian. She is a graduate of Ursuline Academy in Blue Ash, and she received her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Cincinnati. Her professional affiliations include the American Dental Association and the OKI Dental Study Club. She is a Certified Invisalign Provider. Dr. Privett has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry. In her spare time she enjoys board games, knitting, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and son. She has my complete confidence both personally and professionally, and once you meet her, I am sure she will have yours as well.
