        NorthStar Battery Company specializes in the manufacture of a variety of valve recombinant, sealed lead-acid batteries. The company s various product lines encompass several families of products, including of front-access telecom batteries designed for rack and cabinet applications on wireless and telecommunications equipment; batteries for uninterruptible power supplies (UPS); UPS cabinets; engine cranking batteries designed for abusive applications; and marine batteries. In addition to its 150,000-square-foot facility in Springfield, Mo., Northstar has a global subsidiary in Sweden. Founded in 2000, the company has already achieved ISO certification.
