Highly Disrespectful management. Have overcharged me and my friends, and never even tried to resolve the issue with us.

Looking through the other reviews things must have changed. While they still don't have any group fitness classes there do offer MMA and CrossFit classes at an additional cost. The updated equipment about a year ago and have done a good job maintaining it. The only area that could use some TLC is the bathroom, it's hit or miss whether it looks clean or a tornado went through.

I've had a terrible time at this gym, especially since they had new owners take over last month. All of the fitness classes were abruptly cancelled, including the spinning classes, which is the only reason I joined. Of course the management before them weren't that great either because they'd randomly cancel a fitness class with no warning and you wouldn't know until you showed up. The new owners, however, don't give a crap if you're dissatisfied with the fact that they cancelled all the fitness classes or that they're getting rid of all the weights and other machines because, and I quote, "we aren't making any money off of you" (they literally said that!) Obviously they're referring to people who pre-paid into a contract before they took over. While I understand that this may be the case, they won't let us use their other gym (where all the spinning bikes and old elipticals went) even though it technically makes no difference. Clearly they don't want me to renew my contract when it ends and believe me, there is no way in hell I'd do that!! Total waste of money! Oh, and they bought like 50 new elipticals THAT ARE THE EXACT SAME and squished them all into this one room and lined them up like a freakin assembly line. Have fun with that, girls!! Oh, and the older guys who run the place are weird and creepy, they're always STARING at you when you walk in and make comments that they think are funny but are clearly patronizing and just rude!

New management/owners took over this gym in summer of 09 and as a longtime customer, I am appalled at how they are treating the members that were part of the gym before they came on board. I am stuck in a pre-paid contract, but once it expires, I am out. They got rid of most of their weightlifting machines and have ended ALL classes. To show you an example of their integrity, they still have signs up saying that classes have been "temporarily suspended." That is a LIE to potential new members. They have sold all their spin bikes and have NO PLANS whatsoever to start up classes again. It's basically a big room full of elipticals now.



There are other local businesses.gyms to support--this is not one of them. And even though their membership fee is reasonable, it's still MUCH cheaper to join the on-campus gym.
