My daughter has been going to SMB Studio Arts for three years and has really grown as an artist. The instructors are wonderful and the environment is relaxed and fun. The studio is beautiful and I enjoy going in to see what all the kids are working on. Also, the kids really become friendly with each other and have a lot of fun in class. My daughter always comes out with a funny story and a big smile on her face. I couldn’t be happier with SMB !!

I have toured SMB studio arts during some of the open registration events in hopes to take a class soon. It is so great to see talent come alive in a variety of age groups. I feel so grateful to known that the arts continue to thrive...healer for the mind and body!

To the negative comment below,...

To the negative comment below, they're teenagers, it's bound to happen. If your daughter did not hear it there, she'd hear it in school anyway. It's inevitable. You can't shield your daughter from everything. Nice try, mom. In regards to Steve Bunnicelli, he's a phenomenal instructor. It only took one portfolio piece with the guidance of Steve to get accepted into my first choice university, that's how great the drawing was viewed. As long as your are focused on what your there to do, who cares what goes on in the background. I don't care what anyone says, Steve's Teen Portfolio Class is amazing and is the very reason I was able to be accepted into my first choice school. Thank you, Steve!

So i felt the need to say some...

So i felt the need to say something about my favorite place to be...S.M.B studio arts is the best art stuido i have ever attended. Steve Bunnicelli is a fantastic art instructor and helps each and every one of his students show what amazing work they can produce by working hard and being dedicated to what they're drawing. My favorite class is teen portfolio development, i've made great friends and we learn alot from eachother. Our conversations might not be at the maturity level of a grown adult but we're teenagers. So we might be alittle rambunctious and talk about pointless things; but we're all very dedicated to the artwork we're producing and find inspiration and the courage to continue working when we feel our works aren't good enough compared to all the other kids in class. Steve Bunnicelli is our mentor and we all look up to him and we are the best we can be because of him. If you choose not to sign up for teen portfolio development your child is missing out on many friendships, great guidance and instructions and most importantly keeping them from having the strongest portfolio to present when they are ready to start high school or college. I recently had my admissions interview for F.I.T and it went absolutely amazing they were very impressed with my portfolio. And it was all thanks to Steve and the Teen Portfolio Development class.

My sister-in-law told me about...

My sister-in-law told me about this place. I was extremely excited, especially after seeing the pictures of the space and hearing pretty good things. Prices were reasonable. My daughter attended for some portfolio lessons and while her worked improved some...My biggest concerns were the some of the stories my daughter came home with - very much not age appropriate and I don't appreciate such banter in an instructional setting. I will be enrolling her elsewhere for her next session. Thanks, but no thanks.
