The Islands in Statesboro are one of the nicest apartments in Statesboro! The staff in the office are very helpful and are super nice. The maintenance men here work fast to get things fixed if something is wrong. I will definitely recommend The Islands to all of my friends who are looking for a place to live

These apartments are great! I have lived here for three years and the office staff is so kind! The new property manager, Amanda, is always very professional and keeps the tenants happy! The houses are great for college students to be roommate matched to people that will end up being your friend forever! I highly recommend these apartments to college students and even for families!

Possibly one of the worst places to choose if you want the right kind of customer service! Super rude and not one bit willing to help. I do not recommend.

This is the worst place we have ever lived... and we've lived in a lot of bad apartments. This one is by far the worst. Do not live in the "suites" the ceiling/floors/walls are paper thin. We haven't slept through the night ever since we've moved here. Our upstairs neighbors have kids & they all run stomp & walk around in circles & talk extremely loudly at very unusual times. They also hang out in the breezeway & by their cars & talk so loud we can hear them all the way from the parking lot. One day we walked past her on her phone & she was slurring her words so bad. I don't think they own couches or chairs bc they never seem to sit down. We have to turn our TV on & turn it up loud to drown out the noise. We've complained to management twice & even asked to be moved to an upstairs apartment. (We were told they are all full for another year at least.) Do not live in a bottom apartment here.

This place only got 1 star because you have to pick a star. The walls are very thin, almost worse than trailer grade material. This place is probably the cheapest made place I have ever lived in. The management is awful. They sometimes accuse you of not paying rent when you already have (keep your receipts!). They also tow vehicles once a semester so make sure your tire is not even a tiny bit on the grass. They will tow you and tell you you are out of luck. At the very end of your lease, you finally get to move out and you get a bill in the mail charging you for all the stuff that was supposedly messed up (even after your move out inspection!) If you go up to the office and see what you get charged for, most of it will be for things that nothing was wrong with and it will be dropped.. This place is the worst place to live.

This place is worst place I ever lived in 5 years. Sure it looks nice and is well kept up. Management sucks. They over charge on utilities and when you fight the charge and ask to see your usage they refuse to show you the actual bill that they get. Its a scam. I had plenty of friends encounter the same problems. When you move out they will try to charge you for anything and everything. I had scuffs on my wall from where my bed was and they wanted to charge me $100 to paint over it that could easily be wiped off. It was spotless when I moved out and I still got a bill saying they had to clean up shower. I moved into this place the 2nd year and bathrooms had yet to be cleaned from when people moved out and had to get them to clean it before I was able to move in. Don't fall into this "paradise" trap. You will be paying out your a** to live here in the long run.
