The Public Works Department is a part of Racine County Government, Wis., and provides various services to plan, design, construct, maintain, repair, manage and operate the county s buildings, facilities, public infrastructure, natural resources, and parks and highway systems. The department operates three divisions, including buildings and facilities, county parks and highways that focus on providing commercial and leisure activities. Its park department maintains and preserves park lands. The department s highway division plans, maintains and construct Trunk and State Trunk highways and freeways.
