Mills and Thomas is a class act. As a member of my HOA Board, I was charged with getting table umbrellas for our neighborhood pool and had a fantastic experience. Cathy, one of the store owners hand-picked fabric to coordinate with chairs we've had for years and sent me an itemized receipt for quick reimbursement. Honestly, it could not have gone smoother. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I gave one star because I couldn't write a review without it. Bottom line, go ANYWHERE else. General Manager, Keith, lacks integrity, good business sense, and any care for customers after closing a sale.



I purchased nearly $2k in a big green egg and accessories. That day I was able to pick up most of my order and was promised the remained would be shipped. I was pleased with the grill and called to order more accessories, but specifically asked if the added items could be shipped as well, due to living a good distance away, frequent military travel, and long hours when I am in town... I was told it was no problem. Over a week later I returned from a trip hoping my order had arrived, instead, I had a single voice mail stating that it was more than they expected and were wanting to know when I could pickup. After an additional week of promised returned calls, that weren't; blaming 'communication'; absolute failure in trying to make it right, such as offering a pathetic discount on my next purchase, I picked it up myself on Memorial Day weekend, between several other obligations. On pickup, it was a single box about 2*3*1.

Mills and Thomas furniture in Swansboro NC is a buyer beware operation. They sell overpriced furniture that is defective and refuse to honor any warranties. I have to chairs from their and after talking with them over a month ago they have yet to honor their warranty.
