They've got a building supply just 5 miles from my house? Beats the heck out of driving to Home Depot or Menards and wasting the gas, time, and my patience. It's a full service yard so I didn't have to worry about wheeling drywall out on a cart. They help you load the vehicle. Affiliated is kind of in the middle of nowhere, but they said they used to get supplies by the now defunct railroad...Tells you how long they've been around. Good prices too. 4x4s were more expensive than the big boxes, but then their fasteners and and 2x4s were cheaper. Cost wise for a project, it was a wash and easier than hitting 3 stores to save a couple bucks. Seems like they deal with a lot of professionals, but they helped answer questions on my pole barn and fence projects. Definitely better than dealing with a high schooler who just got out of 7th period. Good prices, good service, and excellent convience.
