Casa Di Copani

On Saturday we were in Syracuse for the family weekend at my daughter’s college. We decided to take my daughter and her roommate out to dinner. We made reservations at Casa Di Copani for 6:00. When we arrived the hostess started to make excuses that we had NO reservations and that they were very busy. After a back and forth conversation, the hostess decided to accommodate us, party of 5. As we proceeded into the dining area there was NO ONE THERE except for one booth of 4 customers. The hostess brought us all the way to the back , next to the kitchen door, and was seating us,( party of 5) , at a table for 4 people. She was going to slide an extra chair for us. When I asked her if we could have another table, she started to make excuses. At that point my husband and I looked at each other and walked out. Oh, I forgot to mention that we are a couple with 2 adopted Asian daughters and my daughter’s roommate was from Africa. Now if that is not racism then I don’t know what is. I hope that if you read this review, you will stay far away from Casa Di Copani, 3414 Burnet Ave. in East Syracuse.
