The staff is either incompetent or liars... i have a friends of animals certificate i paid for, and specifically called ahead to find out what additional charges the dewitt animal hospital would charge and I was told h

I would need to pay for a distemper shot apx $20 and for him being bigger and I would Not pay for an office visit because its covered with the certificate I paid for. So what did they do, they gave my dog a booster shot and weighted him and then they charged me a ridiculously priced office visit and the shot, after they told I wouldn't be charged then they forced me to pay and said "oh sorry you were misinformed" this is unacceptable business practice and I recommend you get an estimate and contract before service if you go here or they will most likely rip you off. In addition the office is disgusting, I would not feel comfortable going here anyway.

I am surprised to see good reviews of this business. I have boarded my dog here quite a few times and I find the staff to be most unaccommodating. The boarding facilities smell terrible. Each time I have brought my dog here she appears miserable. She hates this place, and I will not bring her here again. If others have had good results here, god bless them; I can only say what happened to me. Although I live in DeWitt, I now drive all the way to Fulton to board with Kathy Ling, who is wonderful.

I took my adopted cat into see Dr.Wilcox. He was wonderful and did a thorough exam on her. She had all necessary shots and I walked out of there feeling confident she was well taken care of. This vet has many animals of his own, all of whom are adopted. he is very competent in his field and has a warm heart for animals. I think he's the greatest !

Dr. Wilcox is a very kind and talented doctor. When my lab jessica became ill he showed great care and dedication in finding what ailled her. He never ran unnecesary tests. When she had surgery for intestinal cancer he nursed her back to health. Feeding her boiled hamberg with her food when she wouldn't eat anything else. When she came home he was there for me to call with any concerns. Returning my calls immediatly! Between himself and his caring staff she has got a second chance at life. WE get to enjoy her for some time longer. Thank you Dr. Wilcox and staff.
