I’d give no stars if i could. I’ve had nothing but issues with this company. Last month i purchased a $150 ring as a gift. Within 6 days the entire diamond had somehow fallen out. I took it back and had to fight with the associates for them to replace it, since i did not purchase a warranty. Regardless, it was within 6 DAYS after purchase!! My boyfriend also bought my promise ring from Kay, which after being sent out to be resized, came back with a crack in the metal frame that inevitably broke. I took it back, having ourchased the warranty, for it to be fixed. They informed me the warranty that was purchased only covered the diamonds and not the actually metal frame, and would not fix it unless i paid an additional $120. As that seemed to be my only option, the sales associate convinced me i needed a Kay credit card to charge the $120 repair fee to, then the entire length of my stay in the store tried convincing me i needed to use my new $7000 credit availability on purchasing more from their store. I never received the credit card in the mail to even pay on, when they said i would. Each tile i reaches out to an associate both via their website and by calling, i was extremely poorly and rudely greeted and they were of no help to me at all, but acted as if everything that went wrong was my fault, not the companies. Needless to say i am done with Kay Jewelers and after buying multiple pieces from their store that have ALL broken within MONTHS, which i am now convinced is intentional and a scam to get you to pay repair fees or warranty fees. I will never again be spending any money in that store or helping them profit by poorly making jewelry just to get money out of people and treat them less than professionally.

bought a wedding band there. Four months later the antiquing is coming off. Guess I'm out of the 30 warranty period. They said they would do nothing for me. Wal Mart stands behind their product for longer than 30 days. They could have even been more cordial in telling me tough luck on the phone. I know what they can kiss now.
