We just ate dinner at the "new" Krickett’s across the street and a block north of the old Krickett's (the old Blitz).

Dave had a triple club and could eat only half of it. He said he'd order it again but ask that the middle piece of bread would be left out or to add more mayonnaise as three pieces of bread get kinda dry.

I had the 8oz. sirloin with dinner salad and baked potato. First, let me say that that was the best baked potato I've ever had!

The salad was very good but there was so much of it, I used a napkin as a small tablecloth because lettuce kept falling out.

The sirloin was pretty good but had some gristle. Great taste, though.

We will definitely be back.

Edited to add: We loved the Blitz French fries and Krickett's is serving the same.

I went there on 09-11-09. I purchased three drinks between 9pm-11pm. On my third drink the waitress (Michelle) cut me off. That wasn't a problem, she has the right to do that. But for my final drink I gave her a $10 for my $5 drink and returned to my table to wait for it. She brought my drink but no change. I waited for about ten minutes and went to her asking for my change she said o.k. I went back to my table and my boyfriend asked me "What's Wrong?". I told him what happened and I said it was "F*cking ridiculous!". She came over at the end of me saying that telling me I needed to give her my drink and I had to leave. So I asked why and she said I needed to leave or she would call the cops. She handed to me my change I stuck in my pocket, I drank my drink and she walked me out. When we got to the door she said I was eighty sixed. As I walked to my car I checked my change and I only had $3 dollars. When I got home I called the bar and asked when the owner would be in and I was hung up on by the same waitress who just kicked me out. It's not the fact of the money but the principle of the matter. Who would give a 100% tip to a waitress that just cut you off??? Also if she took her tip out of my change who can say how many others she's done the same thing to. Just to let consumers know I have tried to contact the owner multiple times without any success.
