I have been to many dive shops in Florida. Narcosis is one of the most unique dive shops i have ever been to. I've been on their charter boats several times and the Captain has taken us to some AWESOME spearfishing sights. However, they have cancelled once or twice due to weather which sucks but they do it for safety reasons (which is understandable). The service at the dive shop is really laid back and the people there are very knowledgable (when you are a spear fisherman like me that can come in handy ;) ). Overall i will go to Narcosis on my next Florida round trip. This shop (if you need service) is a hell of a place to get it done (and done right).

The store is overpriced. For example, a dive light that is $75 in their store, I could buy for $50 in NPR. Tank fills are $6 and I get them for $4 in NPR.
As for their boat... There are a lot of stupid rules, like no bare feet, no flip flops. I guess you have to wear a full shoe... On a boat? And there seems to be a "click" when it comes to going on their boat. If you don't bow down to the owner, she'll ban you from the boat.
Lastly, the "buy five dives, get sixth one free" and the dive master program is a scam. You'll pay up front and never get the free dive or finish the program, nor will you get money back. If you sign up for a dive and SHE CANCELS the dive , she keeps your money. You get a store credit, even if you don't need $100 in dive stuff.
Beware!
