Sharon's Party Rental

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Poor management, extremely rude, and extremely unprofessional. Avoid if possible. They are cheapest rental company in the area for a reason. Surprise overcharge hit my credit card 10 days after rental for erroneous items, and the company would not work with me to solve the dispute which was in error on THEIR part. Worst experience I've ever had with a customer service company.

We rented a tent for a grad party and it was a horrible experience. The installer was instructed to center the tent in the yard. I arrived just as they were finishing unloading the chairs and tables that we also ordered from them. When I walked in the yard I seen the shabby tent that was erected right next to my deck. The large metal steaks were right in the walking path to get into the tent. So I told one of the installers that the tent needed to be moved back 5-6 feet so my guests would have enough room to enter the tent without squeezing through the 2 foot enterance. I also didn't want the children running into the steaks sticking out of the ground. The installer told me that he was on a schedule but perhaps he could return later to move it. He called his boss( the owner) and the owner said that the would not move it even after explaining the situation. Bad customer service and old tent, tables and chairs. Live and learn! I would not recommend.

I would like to start by saying that I have used Sharon's Party Rental for years, and have never had any problems with them. Though in the past,I would pick everything up myself. This time we ordered a tent and tables delivered. I don't want to even give one star after today.



My wife called and set up everything with them for a tent to be delivered and set up today. I was in the room with her so I know that all the information was given and her phone is loud so I could hear the person on the other end as well. Today when the crew came to the house to setup the tent, we were told that our payment had not been posted, when over the phone yesterday we were told that it had already gone through before the call was ended. The guys on the setup crew were great, they called the owner and tried their best to get the situation resolved.

The owner, however, began to speak with my wife on the phone and started to yell at her about the payment, rather than look up the account and see where the problem was. When he finally did, he saw that the payment had posted, and the mistake was on their part.

We were told we would not have to be home for the set up either, since we told the person on the phone where we would like it to be, luckily we were home, because aside from the payment issue whoever took our order did not include notes on the delivery slip. Which was also something the owner felt the need to tell at my wife for.



Like I said before, the guys doing the setup were great but, the owner is not professional at all! Whoever works in the office, maybe they just forgot to click save And lost the delivery notes, but that was also unacceptable. There were just too many mess ups on the company's part for this delivery, on top of the disrespectful way the owner treated my wife, to ever use this business again. From now on, me and my family will be seeking our needs elsewhere for party rentals. If the store had been open today, the owner would have had to deal with me. He still might have to on Monday.



I would strongly advise anyone seeking to tent anything for a party, to take their business elsewhere. Only because of the owner and the office staff. The setup crew is good, but that's probably because they're used to the incompetence of their employer.

Sharons party rental has got to be one of the best services downriver.

Everything I've ever rented here has been in excellent condition and worked perfectly. Their customer service is great. They've got great prices and their employees are very kind. I could not have asked for a better service. Thank you Sharons!

Would give 0 stars if I could. Had rented a tent from them and they come over and set it up Friday for a party on Saturday. When I came home, the tent was filthy! I mean dirt and bird poop all over it and had a musty smell that you could smell when you were underneath it. I called and told them and they agreed to come swap it out....no problem, things happen. Upon arriving, they tell me they are just taking the tent and breaking the contract I had. Worst product to go with the worst customer service ever!! Avoid!!!
