Fillings
Crowns
Yes. A tooth with a crown will move just like a tooth with a simple filling. When teeth are missing, orthodontic treatment will aid in the alignment of the remaining teeth.

Dentures
Traditional removable retainers are called Hawley or wraparound retainers. They are made of plastic and wires. To clean these retainers, brush them with a toothbrush and toothpaste using cold water. You can also use a special retainer cleaner or denture cleaner. Your retainers should be worn at all times with the exception of eating and brushing your teeth. Your retainer should also be removed when participating in sports that require a mouthguard or while swimming. With these retainers we typically ask you to wear them in the house, awake and sleeping, for at least 6 months. After 6 months of full-time in-house wear, we may revise your retention treatment, allowing the retainer to be worn to bed only.

Dental Implants
Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs) are temporary titanium implants that may be used to assist in treating certain complex cases. Some orthodontic conditions which were impossible to treat before, can now be treated with TADs. Placement of TADs is a minor procedure. Once the orthodontic treatment is completed, the TADs are removed, which is a minor procedure as well.

Jaw Surgery
Orthognathic surgery (corrective jaw surgery) treats and corrects abnormalities of the facial bones, specifically the jaws and the teeth. Often, these abnormalities cause difficulty associated with chewing, talking, sleeping and other routine activities. Orthognathic surgery corrects these problems and, in conjunction with orthodontic treatment, will improve the overall appearance of the face and facial profile.
Tooth Extractions
Binyamin presented with an underlying jaw discrepancy. 4 permanent teeth were impacted (unable to erupt on their own) and had to be surgically exposed. He also needed 4 premolars extracted. A large growth spurt caused his underbite to increase to -5.5 mm (which is considered very severe). Except for the surgically exposed teeth and tooth extractions, Binyamin's teeth were treated with orthodontics alone. No jaw surgery was used to treat this case.
