Merhaba Halal Meat & Groceries

I believe the guy who wrote the review below is completely wrong and even if he is right the man who was working may have a lot of things on his mind or he must have been busy. Sometimes you think people are ignoring you but its not in actual that they are. Sometimes people arent having a good day so you have to accept the fact that people are nice at times and sometimes they arent very welcoming. The experience the person below had was on the third time. The other two times their experience was good and then okay right? So if the third one wasnt as great it must have been due to other reasons. Im sure he didnt lie about the prices. Sometimes prices go up and down. He obviously cant change the prices on the board everyday can he? I don't think so. Being a valuable and faithful customer I know for a fact this place is not a fraud, nor is it bad service. It is actually one of the best halal meat stores and i recommend people going here to get their meat. Just because one person had a bad experience on their third time doesn't mean you go on bashing the owner or the store. Im sure if you were an owner you would do the same on certain bad days and you wouldnt like the fact that you are bashed after two good experiences. I recommend this place :) You wouldnt regret it or think twice of going back!

A very bad experience, a fraud – on the third time I went there.

This is owned by a Pakistani guy I believe, as he is always there. Don’t go there, reason follows;

First time I went to that store to buy some goat meat, the guy treated us really well. He gave pretty good stuff. Second time, he was kinda OK. Third time I went there with my family he was completely weird.

First he ignored us and did not want to talk. After a while I asked him “Do you have goat meat?” First he said “No” then again he asked, “how much do you need?” I answered him “two pounds” and he said he might have it and then went to the freezer to get the “ribs”

My wife asked him if he had better ones and then reluctantly he said, he has the “legs” but it would be $8.25 a pound while the “ribs” were around 6.49. We asked for the legs even if it was more expensive.

Later after paying, I could see on his “price board” that the price was 7.99 and not 8.25.

So I asked him

“first you tried to ignore us, and then when we asked for the meat, you said you did not have it and then reluctantly gave us the ones that did not look good. And then you overcharged us and all those things, and he started saying, “it is for my customer… blab la…” and then I told him “ if it was for your other customer and if you had promised him, you should not have at all sold it to us, and then its not good that you charged 8.25 instead of 7.99.. but it was getting late and I had my little daughter with me so I did not want to waste my time arguing with him. But for those people who go there, please be aware.
